Passionately dedicated to communicating with audiences, Jeong Yun is deeply involved in the local Boston musical scene. In October 2025 she gave two recitals in the greater Boston area under the title “Reflections and Influences”, in an effort to illuminate the creative cycle that connects composers, performers, and listeners across time and generations.

Beyond the solo spotlight, she is an active chamber musician. A recent highlight includes a duo recital with cellist Amber Den Exter, themed around "celebrating women's voices." Driven by a mission to bring neglected repertoire to concert halls, she strives to make music more accessible.

As a researcher, her intellectual contributions were expressed in publications, including a treatise on "Selected Works by Robert Chumbley and Lera Auerbach" (D.M. treatise, Florida State University) and a thesis exploring "The Autobiographical Meaning of Amy Beach's 'Tragic Romance'" (M.M. thesis, Ewha Womens University). Her writing traces back to her sophomore year in college, where she shared her insights on "Preparing Auditions for High-school Students" in the pages of <The Piano>, a prestigious music periodical of Korea.
